Chapter 81 – The Inferior Omega is Forcibly Loved by the Superior Alpha 32
In the room, Shi Heng lay on Shuang Yu’s bed, hugging the quilt, and repeatedly urged him, who was still busy at the computer, “Yu, Yu, it’s time for bed. Didn’t we agree to go out and have fun together tomorrow!”
“Can’t you just go back to your own room?”
Shuang Yu turned around helplessly.
“I don’t want to. I want to stay here and watch over you. If I go back, you’ll definitely work all night again!”
Shi Heng asserted with a pout.
He had to admit, the boy knew him very well.
Shuang Yu smiled helplessly and shut down the computer.
Fine, just one night without work. He wouldn’t starve.
The moment he lay down on the bed, Shi Heng immediately clung to him, holding him in a coddling embrace and nuzzling his head against his collarbone.
“I really feel like I’m raising a large dog…”
Shuang Yu muttered, raising a hand to gently stroke Shi Heng’s hair, which felt wonderful to the touch.
“Hmm? What did you say? Where do you want to go tomorrow, Yu?”
Shi Heng was getting sleepy and asked indistinctly.
Where to go?
Shuang Yu wasn’t particularly interested in having fun.
He silently asked the Vicious Ghost, Do you have anywhere you want to go?
The Vicious Ghost was silent for a long time before stammering, “I… I want to go to the amusement park… After the incident… I never went again…”
The desolate voice was inexplicably heart-wrenching.
“Then let’s go to the amusement park,” Shuang Yu said, a brilliant smile gracing his lips.
Shi Heng, nestled in his arms, had already fallen fast asleep.
[Lord Ghost Messenger, don’t you think you and Shi Heng are being a little too intimate?]
Xiao Ai’s hesitant voice sounded.
Even for brothers or friends, sleeping in each other’s arms felt a bit too ambiguous, didn’t it?
Intimate?
A hesitant expression appeared on Shuang Yu’s face.
[His attributes are currently unknown, and you’re an Omega…]
Xiao Ai struggled to give another hint. The implication was that regardless of whether Shi Heng was an Alpha or a Beta, he could still top him!
“You’re overthinking it. What harm could a puppy possibly have in mind?”
Shuang Yu chuckled, paying no mind to Xiao Ai’s warning.
What if… the puppy in your arms isn’t an ordinary puppy, but a clingy, mad dog?
In the end, Xiao Ai didn’t dare say this out loud.
A higher rank could crush you. If the Lord himself didn’t dare offend a mad dog, what chance did it have?

That night, Wei Yichen had another dream.
He dreamt of his childhood again.
This time, the person who haunted his dreams was no longer a blur; he appeared with Ji Shuangyu’s face, clear as day.
He didn’t dream of the past that had caused him a lifetime of pain and guilt, but of the small moments they had spent together.
On the grass, he placed a flower ring he had woven himself on Ji Shuangyu’s ring finger.
“Xiao Yu, will you marry me when we grow up? I’ll treat you well for my whole life, love you, spoil you, and make you the happiest person in the world!”
“Okay, it’s a promise. We’ll get married when we grow up, and I’ll be the happiest Omega in the world!”
The young Ji Shuangyu nodded, his eyes curving into crescents, looking absolutely adorable.
The scene gradually blurred, and in the blink of an eye, Wei Yichen was back in that nightclub.
Ji Shuangyu was dancing on stage, his eyes fixed on him, every movement and expression filled with seduction.
He walked toward him step by step, bent down slightly, and lifted his chin. “Wei Yichen, do you want me?”
Wei Yichen’s Adam’s apple bobbed as he nodded with restraint.
The latter let out an alluring chuckle, leaned in, and kissed his lips.
His mind went blank, his entire body trembled, and his eyes filled with disbelief.
He… how could he be doing this with Ji Shuangyu?
This wasn’t their relationship!
As if guessing his thoughts, Ji Shuangyu revealed an extremely bewitching smile. “Silly, it’s because this is your dream!”
Wei Yichen’s eyes flew open. He sat up in bed, panting, and threw off the covers.
I’m going insane…
He covered his face, his complexion deathly pale.
After taking a shower and changing the soiled sheets and duvet cover, he walked out of the bedroom with the dirty linens in his arms.
He ran into Shuang Yu, who was yawning as he came out of his room.
Wei Yichen froze on the spot, hesitating, not knowing what to say to him.
Shuang Yu, however, walked lazily toward the fridge to get some water, as if he hadn’t seen him at all.
The dream was still vivid in his mind. Wei Yichen knew that if he missed this chance, he might never learn the truth from him again.
He quickly tossed the sheets and duvet cover onto the floor and strode toward the kitchen.
“Ji Shuangyu…”
When he was still some distance away, Wei Yichen suddenly stopped, his eyes filled with disbelief.
Shuang Yu had his back to him. The cheap t-shirt he wore was washed out and yellowed, its shape distorted.
He could clearly see his gland, which not only had distinct bite marks but also… a shocking scar!
A scene from his nightmare abruptly surfaced in his mind.
A small, pitiful Omega was lifted up by the neck by a scoundrel, a dagger in hand plunged deep into the Omega’s gland.
The shrill screams were endless…
A dull ache seized his heart. Wei Yichen clutched his chest and knelt before Shuang Yu.
Ji Mian had told him that his gland was scar-free because he had undergone scar removal surgery.
He had believed it.
But could someone tell him now why there was a scar on Ji Shuangyu’s gland?
The truth was right before his eyes, leaving him no choice but to let his thoughts run wild.
If… if Ji Shuangyu was really the boy from his childhood…
In that instant, Wei Yichen felt as if the sky was falling.
Before he had even met Ji Shuangyu, he had heard from Ji Mian that this cousin, despite his pitiful background, had a poor character. He was a lazy good-for-nothing, a parasite who did nothing productive all day and only dreamed of getting rich quick.
When they first met, Ji Shuangyu had been very excited, and he had mistaken that excitement for ill intentions.
“Mr… Mr. Wei… Do… do you remember me… We… we…”
That was the first thing Ji Shuangyu had said to him.
He hadn’t given him a chance to finish, cutting him off coldly.
“This should be our first time meeting. After all, a stutter is quite rare! You must be Mianmian’s cousin. Hello, I’m Mianmian’s boyfriend.”
What was Ji Shuangyu’s expression back then?
Ah… it was the expression of someone whose eyes had lost all their light…
Wei Yichen felt his heart pound violently. Half of his body felt like it was being roasted in fire, the other half frozen in ice.
“Xiao Yu…”
His face was ashen as he choked out his name.
“What is it?”
Shuang Yu turned back impatiently and questioned him.
“You… I…”
Wei Yichen’s heart ached with bitterness. He didn’t know how to begin, or what right he had to speak at all.
Shuang Yu couldn’t be bothered to understand his inner world. He grabbed the water bottle, closed the fridge door, and was about to leave.
“Don’t go, I’m begging you…”
The panic in his heart grew heavier. Wei Yichen hurriedly stood up to grab his hand, only to be ruthlessly shaken off.
“If you have something to say, spit it out. Don’t get physical, lest your boyfriend misunderstands and thinks I’m seducing you again!”
The sarcasm and coldness in his words made Wei Yichen’s heart feel as if it had plummeted into a bottomless abyss.
“Was… was your gland injured?”
Wei Yichen asked in a hoarse voice, his heart filled with bitterness.
“Are you blind? Can’t you see?”
Shuang Yu sneered in response.
The scene fell into silence once more.
